Last year, we sent five young Nepali men to Goa, India to attend trade school at Don Bosco Technical High School. Four of them finished their training and have returned to the Tikapur area to work with in their new trades.
R started off by doing carpentry work with his father R and has moved onto other carpentry work. B is also working as a carpenter. R and J are doing welding in Tikapur and have also worked as electricians at Grace School. We are so proud of the young men who have now learned skills that they can now use to support themselves and their families, and they are pleased to have meaningful work.
